iPhone 3G:

Press Settings icon from the SpringBoard of your iPhone. Scroll down to General Menu

Press Network Menu. On the "Network" screen there is a choice Enable 3G. You don´t need to change this setting. And if you don´t have an iPhone 3G, this choice is not available. Press Cellular Data Network.

Under APN field, enter "internet" as the APN
Then go back to the Network menu by pressing Network button at top left

If you want to use Data Roaming at this time, press Data Roaming to turn it on. Press Network button at top left (left screen shot) then turn Data Roaming on.

Now you have Setup Edge/GPRS on your iPhone and ready to surf the internet.

Change of CEO in Maritime Communications Partner (MCP)
As recently announced by Telenor, Pål Bjørdal has been appointed as new CEO of the Telenor’s subsidiary AeroMobile from September 1.

Current MCP Director of Strategy, Alf S. Aanonsen, will take on the position as acting CEO of MCP as from the same date, ensuring business continuity while the position is posted.

Aanonsen has extensive operational management experience within MCP, which he joined since the start in 2002. He worked 13 years for Ericsson before joining MCP, within product-, project- and sales management.
Aanonsen holds an MSc degree within Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH), a Master of Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management, and a Bachelor degree within Economics also from BI.
